Despite Fullmetal Alchemist's huge international success, I've failed to find a good number of extensive character shrines. Let alone manga based shrines, which is the only thing that I'd read since I honestly find the characters depicted in the anime totally uninteresting.

But nevermind if there're 2 or 3000 Roy shrines, I've always wanted to make one myself. He's after all my favorite character in the series and after all this time adoring him, he's become my favorite manga character overall. I wanted to make this site as a reflection of my love for him and the series itself, thus trying to make it as complete and extensive as possible. That's probably why it took me so long to put it up -- nothing I made seemed good enough for Roy.

This place is also a way for me to openly refute fanon beliefs about Roy that seem to run wild among fans. Most of them started up with the anime mis-characterization and grew up to be innacurate or false acknowledgements which never end to bother me. Since I find mixing the manga (which I consider the "true" canon) with the anime confusing (and annoying) to say the least, I always knew my shrine (and the ones that might follow) would be manga-centered only.

So, after many many tries, here it is at last -- my proud and joy, and my first character shrine ever, actually. Hopefully a big resource of everything Roy Mustang and a reliable in-depth exploration that excludes all fanon misconceptions. You're free to disagree with me, of course. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna change my settled thoughts by now. Hope you enjoy your stay either way.
